WE ARE NOT STRANGERS

Do you know how hard it was to talk to you today?
Memories kept haunting me.

Didn’t really seem to know what to say.
A little wasn’t much, but more would’ve been too much.
So I lied said I was fine.

Can you read my inflections, hear my heart upon my sleeve?
You knew my next line.
You knew my crimes; everything about me.
Wanted to reach you, but my touch would’ve been too much.
So I lied said I was fine.

CHORUS
You take me to another place.
Another place in time that I forgot about completely.
Oh I have to go, but please don’t let me go
to that place in time, we can’t feel, between us

Will we see the-resolution, hear the truth before we leave?
Just a few lines, passing time.
Doesn’t count for anything?
Didn’t think we’d get side track, now there’s no way of looking back.
So I lied said I was fine

CHORUS

BRIDGE
Why did we decide to be less than friends?
(We are not strangers).
And yet today I felt the lose of a friend.
(We are not strangers).
I feel that there is nothing that I can do.
(We are not strangers).
If I could break the wall between me and you. We would not be strangers.

CHORUS
